- Only if it contains false statements of fact, not merely an unflattering opinion. We can tell you which side of that line a review falls on.
- Are there deadlines specific to defamation?
- Yes, and they are short. Claims involving published material can require notice within a tight window. Do not wait to get advice.
- Can the author stay anonymous?
- Not necessarily. There are procedures for identifying anonymous posters, though they add cost and time.
