- Do I really need a shareholder agreement?
- If there is more than one owner, yes. It decides in advance what happens on a disagreement, a departure or a death, the three situations that destroy businesses.
- Alberta or federal incorporation?
- It depends on where you operate and plan to operate. We will explain the practical difference for your business rather than give a generic answer.
- Can you work with my accountant?
- Routinely, and we prefer to. Tax planning and legal structure need to agree with each other.
